RSC Holds Summer Classic Golf Tournament August 15
Waiting to begin the RSC Summer Golf Classic
The Runyon Sports Complex (RSC) held its first annual Summer Classic Golf Tournament on Fri., Aug. 15, at Walking Stick Golf Course in Pueblo, CO.
This one-day, 18-hole event, featured 22 teams of four (88 players total) playing a best ball format. The top three teams with the lowest score won cash prizes. There was also cash prizes for longest drive in the fairway and closest to the pin.

Second Place: (54) Greg Hatton, Kris Spradley, Justin Manweiler and Ryan Richardson
Third Place: (54) Miles Gorham, Angie Gorham, Joe Andenucio and John Gorham
There was a silent auction, a 50/50 raffle along with other prizes that were given out via a drawing.

Colorado's Strickland Honored at Runyon Field June 29
On Saturday morning, June 29, 2024, the Runyon Sports Complex welcomed home and celebrated the life of MIA Clifford Strickland (Missing in Action for 82 years) Thank you to the family, all of the volunteers, and people who put this on and celebtrate the life of this great man. We were so honored for you to host this event on Hobbs Field at the Runyon Sports Complex.

2025 Halloween Bash Set for End of October
The Runyon Sports Complex has announced that the Halloween Bash Tournaments (baseball and softball) will OPEN for Registration TOMORROW @ 10am (Wed., Aug. 6)!
We highly encourage teams to participate in our Halloween Costume Contest!
Winners this year will receive 1 Free Entry into a Runyon Tournament for 2026 Season.

Adaptive Sports Day Held May 2
An Adaptive Sports Day was held at Runyon Field on Friday, May 2. This event had over 100 participants and gave those in our community who have disabilities a chance to learn baseball building skills.
This was FREE event and there was a resource booths and face painting booth set up when the participants as they entered the complex.
A baseball game was played with Runyon General Manager Larry Romero, providing color commentary and lunch was provided - hotdogs, chips, cookies and a soft drink.
Thanks to all those who made this possible. Everyone seemed to have a great time!

2022 Home Run Derby a Smash!
In the historic complex named in honor of Damon Runyon, sluggers of all ages converged for the right to be called their age division’s best slugger.
The second annual Home Run Derby saw action taking place on four different field within the complex, with the finals reserved for Hobbs Field. Read More
