The Runyon Sports Complex might be quiet without the parking lot full of cars, but inside the complex, improvements are underway before the 2026 baseball season begins.
General Manager Larry Romero, Assistant GM Dennis Downs, and the Runyon crew are hard at work fixing up Andunucio Field. They are installing artificial line aprons at first and third base.
More improvements are coming, so stay tuned!

Hobbs Field Ribbon-Cutting Dedication Held April 9

The Pueblo Greater Pueblo Chamber of Commerce had the honor of putting on the official Ribbon Cutting and First Pitch Ceremony for the fully renovated Hobbs Field at Runyon Sports Complex.
There was representation from all eight South-Central league (S-CL) varsity baseball teams, as well as three Pueblo County Commissioners and City Mayor, Heather Graham
Upgrades that were made to the 89-year old facility include infield turf, safety netting on both baselines and a new scorebox that will be placed on the lower level in the middle grandstands section.
H.W. Houston Construction, LLC of Pueblo, CO, was the contractor for this project.
The ceremony began with a blessing from Father Don Malin, and followed with key speakers from Runyon Field, HW Houston Construction, Pueblo County, and the Greater Pueblo Chamber of Commerce.
Special thank you all Chamber member and Hobbs Field renovator, HW Houston Construction for providing 750 hotdogs to the Pueblo Community, as well as helping the Greater Chamber design customized baseballs for all those involved in the festivities!
Thanks also goes to Pepsi, Power Credit Union, and Pueblo Latino Chamber of Commerce for the water and cookie donations!
The evening was true community event and the GPCC could not have made it happen without everyone that attended.
